Mothers Mourning Awareness Project
Mothers of lost children do not receive cards on Mother's Day. Mother Mourning Awareness Project allows them to honor this loss.
Protective parents at the Battered Mothers Custody Conference came together this year to allow mothers to "receive" a Mother's Day card even though this will not be coming from their own child. Mother can select a card they would like to receive and write a note to their child or those who have dismissed abuse and forced their child to live with their abuser.
Honoring Mothers of Lost Children
Mothers of Lost Children has hosted Mother's Day events for mothers who could not be with their children on Mother's Day. Here is a look back on the Mother's Day Conference in 2017.
Conference has included guest speakers, meditations, a luncheon and self help to endure this painful time for mothers being unable to protect their child.
